The INAUGURAL COLLECTION · TENSIÓN constitutes the founding act of DELAFUENTEART PROJECT. It is neither a representative nor experimental collection, but rather a normative one: it establishes the positioning, tone, and editorial criteria that will govern the present and future catalog.

The works that comprise it arise from direct action on the material, subjected to real processes of tension, friction, balance, control, or intervention. There is no desire for narration or illustrative symbolism. Form does not precede process: it is its consequence.

Each piece functions as an autonomous presence, but also as part of a common field. Some act as witnesses, others as records, structures, or active residues. In all of them, the material preserves the trace of what has happened and is presented without concealing its condition.

With this collection, DELAFUENTEART PROJECTdefines a clear position within contemporary art: a sculptural practice based on material demands, controlled experimentation, and constant formal research, where each work is both a result and a reference.
