TENSE PERSISTENCE
Once again, I interpret the cross as a primordial form, understood as a point of intersection and balance, beyond any religious interpretation. Not as an image, but as a structure that organizes space and concentrates opposing forces.
The green, translucent, faceted volume is pierced and supported by a network of metal rods that not only hold its shape but also press down on it, wounding it and forcing it to resist. The stone behind acts as a counterweight and geological memory: the stable versus the vulnerable, that which remains versus that which is exposed.
The work proposes a reflection on this symbol not as a closed icon, but as a living organism, subject to external forces, fractures, and constant reinterpretations. Here, form is neither imposed nor liberated: it remains in tension.
